Tammy Brown
Mathematics Program Director

  • Tammy is a College Board certified AP* and Pre-AP* Mathematics consultant who has conducted numerous two-day and week-long institutes since 1996.
  • She has 18 years of experience in public education teaching all levels of mathematics from 7 th grade through AP Calculus.
  • She taught for 13 years at Northwest High School where she started the AP Calculus program - 95% of her students made 3's or higher and 99% of all her students enrolled in the class took the AP exam.  In addition, she established pre-AP vertical teams and designed pre-AP geometry curriculum.
  • She is an AP Calculus Exam Reader.
  • She is a Laying the Foundation Geometry Co-editor.
  • She is a Lighthouse Committee Geometry Editor.
