Lynn Rogers

Science Coordinator

Before joining LTF, Lynn taught in the classroom for 28 years. During the last few years of that tenure, she implemented LTF materials in her own classes, where she witnessed their effectiveness for all her students, including those not identified as Pre-AP. She wanted to share the resources with other teachers, which led her to a position on the LTF science team. Her favorite parts of her current role, she says, are interacting with both teachers and LTF staff members and developing activities and labs that teachers then take back to their own classrooms. Lynn is extremely proud of LTF’s success in Texas and the resulting spread of training to additional states.

Lynn advocates for setting high classroom standards for students. She explains, “I believe that students will rise to the highest level expected of them. LTF believes that we need to stretch our students to achieve more. If teachers have high expectations and the materials reflecting this philosophy to use with students, then the students will rise to that high level of achievement.” She hopes that this achievement-oriented philosophy will continue to reach more teachers nationwide through LTF’s ongoing geographic expansion.

Lynn holds a BS with a double major in Biology and Psychology. She taught a number of subjects during her time as a classroom instructor, but spent most of that time teaching AP Biology and AP Psychology. She has been with LTF since 2007.
