Grant and Contract Manager
Prior to joining LTF in 2009, Gillian worked at an investment bank as a financial analyst. However, she identified the non-profit space as an area she would like to explore (specifically grants and development), and fortunately learned about the opportunity at LTF. “It was a perfect fit,” she recalls. “Grants work represents an ideal combination of writing, problem solving and finance. It is also an exciting time to work in education. Non-profits, philanthropic organizations, and government agencies all seem energized about making meaningful improvements to the existing system.” Gillian’s favorite aspect of her role is the chance to craft proposals and reports, but she also loves learning from the stellar educators who work so hard each day to further the LTF mission. She hopes that the organization can widen its donor base and form additional partnerships as it expands its geographic reach and services offered.
Gillian holds a BA in Economics.
