Hardware and software requirements

  • A media player program on your computer
  • The EnvivioTV MPEG-4 Plug-in for your media program
  • A high speed internet connection (for best results)
  • Either audio speakers or headphones

How to download the plug-in

To view the recorded webcasts, you will use a program called a media player that came with your computer. If you are using an Apple computer, the program is QuickTime. If you are using a Windows PC, you may use Windows Media Player, QuickTime, or RealPlayer - whichever you have on your system.

Regardless of which program you use, you will need to download and install a "plug-in" called the EnvivioTV MPEG-4 Plug-in. Depending on the type of computer you have, click on one of the links below and follow the instructions. Here are quick instructions, but the sites below will have more information.

Question: I am having real trouble navigating in the Webcast.. If I move the counter forward, it should stream to that part but instead it does nothing.

Answer: In order to advance or rewind the webcast. You have to use the transport controls (ffwd, rrew, slider) within the webcast windows and cannot use the transport controls of the media player.
