Federal, state, and district budget cuts have drastically reduced funding available for teacher training, and students will suffer for it. With your help, Laying the Foundation can continue to offer our three-year teacher-to-teacher training program to teachers and school districts nationwide, positively impacting the lives and learning of students today and in the future.
Your tax-deductible donation will help teachers get the training and resources they need to increase the level of rigor in their classrooms and prepare students for success in college. Donations of any amount can be made online or by mailing a check to LTF. Every dollar counts!
Many teachers who started the LTF Training program do not have the financial resources to complete their training. Research shows that consistent, sustained teacher training has the most impact on student achievement. You can help them complete the LTF program.
$500 helps one teacher to finish the final year of LTF Training
$1,000 helps one teacher to finish the final two years of LTF Training
Your donation can provide 12 days of training over three years. As part of the training program, teachers receive access to ready-to-use lessons, online resources, and mentoring opportunities.
$1,500 helps one teacher to attend and complete the full three-year LTF Training program
Can you help more than one teacher? You can sponsor an entire school or district for one, two, or three years of training in any single discipline or a combination of multiple disciplines: English, Middle School Math, High School Math, Middle School Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Pricing varies depending on the size of schools and districts.
$12,000 (minimum) supports one group of 30 teachers per year
